Orion Garden (October 2024)

Under the leadership of Deborah Marchand, Greybrooke Garden Club volunteers maintain the enclosed garden area for Orion Personal Care Residence located on Ferguson Road in Allison Park, PA. Deborah works dilligently and tirelessly to make sure that the garden is neat and colorful throughout the growing season!

Tour of Wilpen Hall (June 2024)

Wilpen Hall, an historical estate located in Sewickley Heights, was built for William Penn Snyder and his wife during the late 19th century as a summer home. Snyder was the founder of the Shenango Furnace Company and its subsidiaries. Designed by George Orth and Brothers in the style of an English Manor house, the residence was subsequently named "Wilpen," using a contraction of Snyder's first and middle names. Over the past several years, Verna Corey, widow of William Penn Snyder III, has been restoring the estate with the help of estate manager Martin Maines. Wilpen Hall is truly a Pittsburgh treasure!

Concordia of Wexford Gardens (June 2024)

Under the leadership of Debra Krischke, Greybrooke Garden Club volunteers maintain the gardens for Concordia of Wexford, which is a personal care facility. Debra's mom was a resident beginning in 2020, and Debra initiated the volunteer effort to maintain the gardens and bring beauty and joy to all the residents...in honor of her Mom, and all of our Moms!

Holiday Luncheon (December 2023)

Greybrooke Garden Club members celebrated their blessings during their annual holiday party at BRAVO! Cucina Italiana on McKnight Road.

Hosting Members of Other District IX Clubs (November 2023)

Greybrooke Garden Club members annually host a meeting in November and invite members of other GCFP District IX garden clubs. This year's program speaker was Floral Rhythyms, who presented "The Americana Tour," featuring floral arrangements created to music representing cities across America.

Summer Garden Party (July 2023)

Greybrooke Garden Club members enjoy a summer garden party at the home of DeWitt & Karen Lampman. DeWitt grills the meat, and members each bring a dish to share.

President's Tea & Installation of Officers (April 2023)

Greybrooke Garden Club held it's annual President's Tea at SERENDIPI-TEA in the historic community of Saxonburg, PA. New officers for the two-year term May 1, 2023 through April 30, 2025 were installed. Members enjoyed a delightful high tea event hosted by Ashley Stadelmaier and her fabulous staff. This is a favorite venue for a tea party!
